“This adults-only property strikes me as a mixed bag. While some find it a romantic getaway with a lively beach club, others have reported significant service and maintenance issues that seem out of step with the price point. The cenote-style pools and access to Zamna Beach Club are definite highlights if the resort can smooth out its operational kinks.”

nice stay

safe transportation efficient concierge

the transportation safety was good since the amstar staff stayed available at the hotel. the resort staff was amazing, especially concierge marlen. She met my requests efficiently. the beach had a private, beautiful section, and i enjoyed the food and hospitality.

i noticed details that didn't match a luxury resort experience after arriving by car. there was no clear signage indicating where to leave a vehicle for check-in. breakfast seemed weak with limited variety and service that felt neither warm nor genuine.

Rooms

9/10

the room was a great size and the beds were very comfortable for sleeping. the design and arrangement of the space added a practical element. i found the room super clean after each housekeeping service.

Location

8/10

the hotel is located slightly away from the main city center. the hotel offered shuttle service to the beach club. travel to destinations like the tulum ruins required a taxi, approximately 15 minutes away.

Facilities

9/10

the hotel includes multiple pools, each catering to different preferences and relaxation levels. the main pool and rooftop pool provide more entertainment, and some others offer more relaxation. i loved the beach bar with top service on the caribbean sea.
